Amazing game. Recomended along with the spiritual succesor Supreme Commander part one, where the TA gameplay idea is modernized and detailed.

Indeed they are very singular styled games. Two of a kind.

Thank you for the surprise gift GOG! I've heard a lot about Total Annihilation but I never played it.

erm... does it have a 320 x 200 setting that make everything BIGGER because I have visual problems and can't see those multicoloured dots in the screenshots?

even though TA is not my cup of tea think maybe for people that have visual problems for once

I don't like these types of games so won't be getting it about as boring and tedious as chess to me.

I don't see how people find this fun maybe lawyers would find this fun but not me.

I remember reading about this in magazines back in the day, never got around to playing it until now. :)

Not a big fan of RTS games but Total Annihilation was one of the few that I liked. Happy that it is given away now!

Total Annihilation: Commander Pack is the game that brought me to GOG.com - though I bought Total Annihilation Kingdoms (totally different game !) first and Total Annihilation: Commander Pack some months later (makes me wonder if GOG did not add Total Annihilation: Commander Pack until May 2011....

Anyway , IMO then Total Annihilation: Commander Pack is like the mother or father of all great RTS games , there might have been other RTS games before but Total Annihilation: Commander Pack had an outstanding quality that were far ahead of it's time, a quality that has made it a true classic...
So thank you very much to GOG and Cavedog Entertainment / Wargaming.net for this great giveaway !!!!

Somehow i have this installed longer on my pc than earth 2140.
But i stopped playing it at mission 16 of original arm campaing for some reason.
Guess i played more earth 2140 since it was more fun to me, but it could be just a lack of playing all the missions in Total Annihilation.
