I'm running Vista SP1 and every time I launch DN3D, dosbox loads, the loader screen for duke loads, and it seems to get down to the duke.cfg and then it crashes. The screen doesn't stay up long enough for me to see it, but it happens every time in this spot.
I'm at a loss here... :(

Grah
You have to click on the shortcut, go to properties and click the checkbox for 'run program as administrator'
You generally have to do that for a lot of dosbox games because dosbox automatically fiddles with your resolution and other system settings.

Changing the output mode (through Graphics mode setup) to OpenGL fixed this problem. :)
Running it as administrator fixed the problem for me.

The "Graphics mode setup" program in the Duke install folder.

I also found that run as administrator and setting compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3 along with the above solved my crash issues. I'm running Windows 7 x64.
