OK, thanks for answering and fair enough.
But you know that you don't have to run it to play any gog games, you can just run it to update your games and then close it, it doesn't run in the background if you don't want it to.

DoomSooth: I don't really have a need for Galaxy. I've used it to play Dying Light in co-op but I'd rather not if I could avoid it. Also, Galaxy has two services that run even when Galaxy itself isn't running. Why? When Dying Light isn't being played, I uninstall Galaxy instead of disabling those services.
