while the MS-DOS port of Aladdin is based on the Amiga port of Aladdin.
there is actually another version of Aladdin on PC which is based on the original Sega Mega Drive/Genesis version and was made to work natively on windows 95 (pretty much in the same way like Earthworm Jim Special Edition for Windows 95)
and while i don't know if it ever had it's own release i do know that it was released on the Disney Classic Video Games Collection for Windows 95 (i once did own Disney Classic Video Games but i lost the game and i don't know where to find it)
thing is i don't know if it is possible to get that version to work on windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 64-bit. however for some reason the Disney Classic Video Games Windows 95 version of Jungle Book (yet again i don't know if it had it's own release) is actually included in the GOG release of Jungle Book.
however it doesn't work on windows 10 since it says it needs a Wing32.dll file when i try to launch the Windows 95 version of Jungle Book which apparently can normally only be found in the Windows 95, 98, XP and Vista, Windows Folder.
here is a youtube video i found of the Windows 95 version of Aladdin:
https://youtu.be/EBRLWINCqlA EDIT: i forgot to mention the Windows 95 version of Aladdin uses Midi Files for music so you can probably get it to sound alot better than it is in the youtube video that i found through something like Bassmidi or VirtualMidiSynth and a good Soundfont
EDIT 2: yet again i forgot to mention that (and this is only with Aladdin on the Disney Classic Video Games Collection) which is that the game speed is for some reason unlocked in that Windows 95 version of Aladdin but maybe it can be fixed by locking the frame rate to 60FPS or something (i don't know how to actually fix it)
