Just got Windows 7 and was wondering how this game plays on it. Or if there are any issues with it. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

I have the game on Windows 7 and I haven't noticed any particular issues with it. I had no problems with the high-res mod either, although that's the only one I've used.
I'm running 32-bit Windows 7 btw.

Runs fine for me. I had to start the game with the -no3d switch to fix a minor issue with the in-game mouse pointer.

Asus 1000he with windows 7 32-bit, no problems, and I have 1024x600 resolution support from the hires patch. Seems to work fine, although I have not played a lot yet.

Runs fine i had some weird lags with inventory and looting, but just start it with either -no3d or -doublebuffer or both and that should clear it.
I use newest UAP patch and high ress & Hquality town mods scrolling seems little laggy with 1920 1200 ress but it didn't do it with the normal 800 600 ress.

Windows 7 uses the same kernel as vista, so the majority of things that work on vista will work on 7. I just bought this one too and my main gaming machine is 64 bit 7 Pro. I will post with confirmation after I install it.

I tried on Windows 7 64 bits and could install all mods without problems.
But I also have some lag on the inventory screen.
So if I understand well, I need to add -no3d on my game shortcut, right? Would it change somehow game's graphic as well?
One strange thing. My game we crashing time each time before accessing the main menu (right after the random loading screen).
To play I have to run the game as administrator (right click on the game shortcut).
Isn't it strange?

I'm running Arcanum on Windows 7 x64 also and, although I had no problems running the game using the default exe, I added the command line options -no3d and -doublebuffer after reading that this might help prevent memory leaks. I also installed the recommended mods to play at a resolution of 1280x720, which looks great. The game has been running well so far, with no bugs or stuttering yet encountered.
As for your crashes, did you install the game to Program Files (x86) as per the default options, or did you install to another directory on your hard drive? I install all my older games in a C:\Older Games location so as to avoid any issues with UAC security, and it seems to work well. Perhaps try that if the crashing becomes a more serious issue?

Yes, I installed it on the default directory (Program Files (x86)).
This would explain why I need to run it as admin. Thanks for the tip :)
The -no3D and -doublebuffer seems to solve the lag issue quite well.
I also installed the patch to play @ 1920x1080. That changes the game's experience! (I used to play at the normal resolution when the game was released)

Now, I'm going back to playing my Gnome diplomat. I might give 1920x1080 a try also, after your own recommendation.

Well, i am tempted to buy the GOG Arcanum.
I have the original 2 disk version. I've decided to give it another go.
And, i've got this screen corruption problem [see attachment].
I/m running Win7x64 with a 7600GT.
It worked well without the hires patch, but seeing how nice it looks i want to try it too.
I play on my good old Flatron CRT [aspect ratio 5:4], and patched the game to work in 1280x1024 [but it craps out on others as well].
The -doublebuffer helped a bit [the screenshot was taken in a -doublebuffer'ed game].
So,.does anyone have a cure for that?
