Imagine yourself coming to visit an unknown city and seeing it almost ruined, with all the citizens turned into zombies. What will you do? Call for help, organize a large-scale rescue campaign or... Try to dig your way out of the situation, find out what happened and use your last chance to save the person you love!
Zombie Shooter 2 is a unique blend of two game genres - Action and RPG. Every player can choose a character to their liking, get experience to develop skills, earn money and spend it on weapons, medications, and useful devices. All of this will be used against thousands of enemies. The zombies fill the game screen, never letting you rest, even for a minute.
From the maker of the legendary Alien Shooter series.
Huge crowds of enemies, more than 100 zombies on one map at a time.
Several types of vehicles to drive.
Ability to upgrade the main character's parameters.
More than 60 weapon types, including sniper rifles.
Lots of auxiliary devices, including radar and battle drones.

Zombie Shooter 2 epitomises the best and worst of isometric shooters. It's glitchy, badly optimised and horribly pixelated (also I suggest you turn off the voices). But what it does right it does great. A huge variety of (very satisfying weapons) backed up by a pumping (if repetitive) soundtrack help you mow through horde after horde of progressively nastier undead. It's pure mindless, bloody carnage and I love every minute of it.
the balance is off, the pacing is off, the guns aren't categorized correctly, the game is practically black and white, and to top it all, it's looks like they forgot to create textures for the enemies. extremely disappointing compared to alien shooter 2.
This game does not play like a professional product. As mentioned in other reviews, its very buggy (your character gets stuck in terrain, zombies can't navigate even the simplest obstacles, etc). The weapons can be satisfying, but only when dealing with low-level zombies, since the tougher zombies take loads of damage before they die, and there is no real indication that you're hurting them until they suddenly die. The zombie design is cool, and the death animations remind me strongly of Fallout 1+2. But the special zombies are also a big problem. They start out as challenging bosses, which is okay, but quickly become very common, appearing in groups of 3-5 at a time in every room. This makes the game an annoying slog in which you pop out, take a few shots, then duck back into cover to avoid the boss-zombie's bazookas or other ranged weapons. A zombie shooter should not be a cover shooter! Finally, the levels quickly get boring and repetitive, I stopped playing after a half-dozen levels, so I would not recommend this game to anyone.
The game is aptly named; Zombie Shooter. You shoot zombies. You turn them into juice. You render them to goo. You have a bloody lot of fun. Quite bloodily. You can shoot them with pistols, with machine guns, with flamethrowers, with laser guns and plasma beams. You shoot them until they stop moving, and then more come up to be shot at. It is quite fun and worth it to play through at least once. If you want to play more than once, more power to you. There isn't much difference to the game the second time around, but it is quite nice to go through again and try different strategies. Mostly, the strategies devolve to keep your distance and shoot lots.
Final Word: Once and Done
This one is moreso a adventure game instead of a arcade shooter unlike it's predecessor. While you are still shooting zombies, for the most part, the same way; everything else is different. Now you have story, told in splash dialog (a pop up text at the bottom of the screen). You still have weapons but they aren't the usual, you have a shop now where you can spend money, getting better weapons with higher prices, and selling other weapons you pick up. And there are vehicles in this game now as well. Still have problems with the terrain, but everything else is polished up. If ya didn't like the first for how arcady it was, try this one.
