Zeus + Poseidon (Acropolis)

Now, I'm a simple man with simple pleasures, the kind of man that prefers action up the roof in his video games. And yet this game hold my attention till the very end and didn't let go for a second. It's that combination of nice setting (because seriously who doesn't like Greek mythology?), humor, and just that feeling of satisfaction whenever you and your city overcome another obstacle, or when you win in the Olympics, or just when you see your city prosper, that makes this game great. I don't know who you are, but I advise you to take a look at this game, find and download a demo and play it, and you'll see you'll love this game.

An excellent, tense game which forces you to constantly mind and rethink your urban planning. It might appear simple, but it's nothing but, it forces you to juggle with food, commodities, infrastructure and services. If you can't grow or extract them, you'll need to import them, then it means keeping a balanced budget, staying in debt will cause you to lose popularity and maybe be thrown out. And meanwhile it has a truly beautiful soundtrack, very atmospheric and charming, as well as cute graphics that still hold up today (except for the lack of zoom and lukewarm animation). It has a lot of personality and a decent amount of challenge. Overall, a great thing really worthy of all the time you'll sink in it.

After 5 hours of playing this game, i have to say that the depth of this game is unbelievable considering this game is from 2000. I will surely have a ton of fun but one negative thing is the fact that there is nothing even remotely similiar to a tutorial so you need to understand everything on you own. it took me hours before understanding why my city was producing olives just fine but no olive oil would get on the market.

Hey, just month ago I bought boxed version Zeus Gold as I didn't expect you'll hear my plea and you will release it! Now I stare and it's happening! Well since DVD version doesn't install properly (Zeus only) I might spend another dollar on this. Anyway maybe I'll buy it again while it's 50% off (grin) because this game is the best builder ever released and it was never surpassed by anything. Only Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom or Pharaoh was that close. 100%, nothing more to add. If you don't own it already (like me) , BUY IT!

Great game, but there is one issue. This game featured Polish language since it's first release, over 20 years ago. Why there is no Polish language in GOG version? Please add, then I will buy. Thank you.
