Great Movement Mechanics
Really fun movement, platforming. Takes some time to adjust to, but lots of tech. Story sucks, of course, and will be dated within a year, but oh well.

Underrated
One of the few games I spent the time to 100%. Easily one of the all time great collect-a-thons. Here's why: - the game has a clear vision - the devs had an idea and brought it to life. Mario 64 but car is a new (at least to me) concept. - the game has a great art design - no photorealism, it's very Mario 64, it's blocky and colorful. The game would look great if it came out 10 years ago and it will look great 10 years from now. - the game plays superbly - the moment you pick up the controller you know you have gotten your hands on something special. The controls are very responsive. Yes, I died a lot but most of it was not by the fault of the game. - a game that runs great - no bugs or glitches, no stutters, no crashes. Not surprising given level size and graphical fidelity but should be pointed out regardless. - a game of average length - 5-10 hours depending on how fast you're going. I got 100% after 8 hours and 5 minutes. It's short and sweet. You can knock it out in a weekend if you want. You don't have to spend 2 months of your life to finish it.

Very fun game, doesn't overstay it's welcome and it's just plain fun. very nintendo-y in it's essence.

Great Movement and Discovery Platformer
Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom An excellent Collect - A -Thon Platformer. The mechanics are simple, but allow complex and free movement. The Pacing of difficulty and learning is well designed, providing easier challenges to get through the game, but also providing more difficult challenges for those that want to keep going or want to aim higher. The penalty for death is losing 30 coins. You keep everything you picked up. Coins are used for buying hats and are not used for progression. There are also some ways to get coins relatively easily. So you don’t really get punished for dying. The levels are pretty small but packed with hidden corners. This emulates the best in the genre, where the desire to peak around every corner and reach every high point pushes you forward. Basically anywhere you can see you can reach via some method. There may only be some coins in some hard to reach locations, but that tells you that you can actually reach those spots if you try. The satisfaction of reaching these spots is the point. Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom is excellent because it provides you with detailed levels, giving you the desire to explore, while simultaneously providing interesting mechanics that give you the ability to reach all of these seemingly impossible to reach locations.

Amazing Game
Nostalgic and reminiscent of N64 era games, but in a very good way. The controls are tight and mastering them and getting every gear is surely achieving.
