World Rally Fever: Born on the Road

This is my first critical review on GOG, but when I saw this one hit the frontpage it brought back memories of playing this when it first launched. In particular, the disappointment of it being a dodgy Mario Kart clone with the fun removed. Most of the time you can just hold 'up' and auto-steer around the course due to the poorly faked 3D effect. If it's vehicular carnage you want, track down Carmageddon - and if it's cutesy racing that's genuinely entertaining I'd go for Wacky Wheels. It's crude but great, and actually requires some skill. In WRF you'll simply leave the opposition behind and never see them again.

For what all this reaching racing genre game has in its consistency is to be reined within on all its continuous facetes. This game crashes any new PC I run it on, and they've mutilated the install files so a windows 98 machine doesn't like running it. it's a real shame. I'll have to find a way to download an iso of the game in order to play what I payed for.
