This Game Deserves a Sequel
Very Challenging and Very Fun. A Great RTS/RTT that hasn't shown its age. I wish we could continute the fight in 1990.

Excellent game
Great to see it on GOG. It is one of the best story-driven RTS. The graphics are style holding and it runs like a charm if you apply the patch to give it more memory. 7 hours in the campaigns without problems. I am really enjoying it!

Good both in singleplayer and multiplay.
This is a great stratigy game. There is nothing more filling then carbet nuking your friends while they try to capture the your defensive positions. When it comes to the single player part it is a great story that is well presented and even though i know it wont happen i still keep hoping for a sequel, All in all you really can't go wrong with this game if you like RTS games.

Well-Polished Tank Destruction
In shirt: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, doubly so if you can tolerate Company of Heroes 2 the vastly inferior product. Despite the Ubisoft logo, ZERO bugs. The only lackluster parts are the mission design in some places, the repetitive, impact-draining nature of killing hundreds of tanks on almost every level and the lack of replay value. The expansion adds the six Soviet Missions that are on par with the original 14 USA ones. Not much to say about this one. Took 16 h to beat slowly on Easy, though someone could probably do it in 10 . The worst parts of the missions are the optional objectives that are often timed and / or obscure. The worst one is the POW camp defense one (14th?) where you are given choppers to take down artillery, though not given any pointers where they are. All you get it from the side objectives are extra medals (worthless) and some assets (that you don't really need).

Interesting but flawed
Sometimes fun gameplay and interesting story, but hampered by absolutely inept control and consistantly un-fun missions that consist of your six-ten units facing endless hordes of Soviets/Americans who always outnumber you by a factor of 300000. You are constantly tasked with securing multiple objectives at once, but the way the game plays taking your eyes off a unit for longer than one nanosecond basically ensures they will be blown away. It never feels like you are making progress towards an objective because enemy units will spawn infinitely and in great numbers until whatever mission trigger is hit. Tactical gameplay non-existant, but Cold War afficiandos will appreciate the attention to different NATO and Warsaw Pact vehicles, and as I said the scenario is pretty cool.
