Genuine Bethesda experience
Heaps of unskippable intro movies. Can't alt-tab without crash. Full screen ad on main menu. Can't change resolution without crash. Never got to the 3D part of the game. Refunded.

Shootastic As Ever
Not as good as The New Order and The Old Blood, but still good. The gameplay is shootastic as ever, with some new mechanics later in the game. Mostly good level design, and some entertaining setpieces and sequences. At least it doesn't have some glaring balancing issues and MANDATORY STEALTH like Return to Castle Wolfenstein does. The game is about 8-12 hours long if you focus on the main campaign, and maybe 12-16 if you do side stuff as well. I'd say the worst thing about the game still, is how demanding it is. Those recommended specs are nothing to sneeze at, even today. Thankfully I have decent hardware and it ran fine. Get it on sale, you won't regret it.

Absolutely phenomenal
What really can I say about this game? While not perfect, it is an absolutely amazing FPS title that anyone who enjoys their action games will love. Tight gun-play, well made maps to use to your advantage (for the most part) a killer sound track and willing to not take itself too seriously and just enjoy the ride, this is one of those games I would recommend most people play. I can really point to one part in the entire game that doesn't hit it out of the park (and I refuse to give the spoiler related). It's been a while since I played a game that had me going "well let's see what's next before we call it for the night" until past 11 in the evening, and it felt great to get into one.

Excessive viewbob makes me ill
There is severe view bobbing while walking, running and turning. It's not possible to disable it in settings, nor did the third-party hacking tool work for me to solve this problem.

Just an elaborate cut scene
All this game is is one giant elaborate cutscene where they allow you a couple of minutes to participate. What it most feels like is one of the light gun games from the arcades in the 90s like Area 51 or House of the Dead. Everything is scripted and honestly it's just garbage. While its predecessor Return to Castle Wolfenstein was very linear it gave you the feeling that you were exploring and participating. Not this game. I really feel sorry for the current generation if they think this is a good FPS. Also, the fact that they think anyone would care about Blazkowicz's childhood and include story elements about that is mind-boggling. I want to shoot nazis, that's it. It's obvious the developers thought that we wanted one big story and that creating an actual game was a hindrance to their "art". I cannot stress to you how bad this game is.
