Wings of Prey: Special Edition includes Wings of Prey and the Wings of Luftwaffe add-on
Wings of Prey is based around the large-scale aerial combat and ground military operations of World War II. Players can participate in some of the war’s most famous battles piloting fighters, battle planes and bombers across a range of thrilling missions. There are six theatres of war to engage in – The Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, Ardennes, Berlin, Sicily and Korsun' representing the main airborne battles of World War II in Europe.
Wings of Prey also boasts an all new damage effects engine as well as advanced environmental visuals enriching the game play. Wings of Prey features hundreds of airplanes taking part in air battles. The unique environmental engine also produces highly detailed, realistic landscapes that allow players to see breathtaking ground support actions.

Controls? Are you there?
This game looks like it's a lot of fun. The visuals are nice, the combat is fluid and dynamic. Although it's an arcade WW2 aerial dogfight simulator, it still feels like you're flying a WW2-era craft (basically a refrigerator with an engine and wings). However, the controller controls are not optimized at all. If you're using a gamepad, 95% of the controls are not mapped to any keys, so you're awkwardly trying to maneuver your plane while trying to find the random key on the keyboard you're supposed to hit to make the thing you want to work. I think if this was ever released on a console, they would have streamlined the controls, but seeing as it probably wasn't (or if it was, the devs were too lazy to port the controls to the PC) then the controller controls are a nightmare. Only play if you have a joystick or if you want to use a keyboard for your flight simulator. Controllers are not welcome here.

Even for arcade level. Bit it reminds me old mechanical arcade game.

Not a Sim. A soi-boi arcade game.
Not bad if all you want are flashy graphics and ZERO authenticity. This game is good for 12 year olds and soi-bois. If you want a proper WW2 simulation, stick with IL2. 🖒
