Not awful, not great
Game has good gameplay in the card game aspect. Everythin in the game is slow, except for running around. Initial load into the game got me stuck in a conversation with the first person. couldn't get out of it until i closed the game, was fine after loading in again. Game has keybinds reacting at all times. Typing an 'e' character after having 3+ characters in my name confirmed the name and continued the creation even though i wasn't done typing a name. Inspecting a card, it shows 'esc' to get out of inspecting, but that also brings up the settings menu everytime. Actual cardgame is fun, ableit slow. There appears to be a full couple of seconds to run thru each placed building ( in some cases without on screen notification of what it's doing), a few seconds of pause, then the opponent's turn starts. opponents turn has the same excessive pauses after each action, with nothing showing what is going on. i feel with some tweaking the game could run a bit faster and run some things asynchronously so that it doesn't hinder the game play.
