Pretty damn terrible, sadly.
This game offers a huge variety of playable races, heroes, units, research, skills, spells, etc. Sadly most of it is completely useless and worthless. The whole design of this game is complete rubbish. The problem with the heroes is that it takes an absurd amount of time to get them leveled up to a point where they can actually do something useful. A merchant hero for example can lower the cost of everything you buy (units, building, research) but that cost reduction is gained in very small increments, less then 1% per level, which costs you both a skill point and a stat point, both of which you only get 1 per level. This is true for every hero and every skill. Then there is the fact that the vast majority of skills (and magic) are either plain useless or very situational. Worst still is that hero builds work in a rock-paper-scissors kinda way, where one build will simply overpower another and there is nothing you can do about it. Then there is the system where you can buy starting units, these units can be chosen from your racial pool, but you also have access to your personal pool of units you can save up at the end of a battle (if they survived). This sounds great but it turns out horrible. This gives players that have worked to level up their personal pool a huge advantage and can just completely curb stomp any opponent that hasn't done the same. A bigger problem is that you can't turn this feature off in the campaign games. Plus any unit from this pool that dies is lost forever, campaign battles are just no fun, because you have no hope of winning without a good pool of starting units, but if you lose even a single battle you lose all of that and have to fuck about in skirmish battles trying to build up your pool again. Another sad thing is that while this game have a huge variety of units, most look kinda terrible or just dumb. I really wanted to love this game but its just not a good game, its not even an average game, its just bad.

Stealing is a Crime.
game has Ubisoft DRM that makes it nonfunctional.

Doesn't work
I used to love this game when i was a kid. I bought it today so i can play it again but it does not open on my laptop. i have windows 11. it is supposed to work

Poor man's Warcraft?
It's pretty much like Warcraft. Simple economy, building tiers, same unit classes, heroes. However, graphics are really ugly and it takes some time to recognize units of an army. So why buy it? Campaign system looks promising. And lots of races, if you like it.
