The positive:
- The music
- The story (I have not completed it, due to being bored very quickly by this game). I am doubting if this belongs under positive.
The negative:
-The trading system (hailed as new, but it is exactly the same, you just use influence instead of gold.
- Repetitiveness
- Linear maps
- Not an owlcat games game if you're hoping for games of the standard set by their pathfinder games.
I will advice you to save your money unless you absolutely MUST play/own all warhammer games.
On this note: Holy cow I have been disappointed by all late warhammer games.
Was quite excited for this one, being a big 40k fan since ...Rogue Trader. The GOG installer hangs up at 97% and then crashes every time I reload and hit the "play" button.
The offline version doesn't work either. Asks for part 2, but cannot find it. I tried renaming files but from reading the forums it appears that people believe the wrong file(s) were uploaded at some stage, and patching the game also apparently a nightmare. GoG then tells me that my refund could take up to 30 days. Overall, a pretty awful experience all around.
Hopefully GOG and Owlcat can fix this, as I'd like to come back with an amended review for a working game.
meh, Too cheap - $99 in regular price (for Voidfarer Edition) means that game is probably in early access or working in progress state. Don't buy games that are not polished and costs less than $250. +1 star for using a brand.
