Too rough
I've played Warcraft 1 & 2, Dune 2 and other really old RTS games and i still couldn't deal with War Wind. Something about the way units move and act feels "wrong". Collecting resources is really clunky. And all the commands are hidden in a popup menu with vague icons. It's all too iffy. Which is a shame because it seems really cool with the four different factions and all.

partially fixed
i have the old disc version which have graphical issues and crashes in modern systems. the gog version fixes those but, the cd check is still there but broken. i had to use my original executable from the disc version to get it working properly.

Overrated warcraft clone.
Hmm...where do I start. The animations are choppy, gameplay isn't very interesting, pathfinding is suspect and the game is very hard to read (=> it's hard to see the details of everything, the controls are clunky at best). At first glance, it might seem like a good original game but i really wouldn't recommend it to anyone and i'm a huge RTS and Warcraft II fan.
