I just love this game, puzzles are logical and I've managed to solve all of them retro style, by own brain. Great universe, great story, deep detalization, funny humor. I would definitely recommend this game to all Beneath The Steel Sky lovers and other similar games.
Love it!
Great Art, Setting and Soundtrack. The puzzles are very engaging and can stump you for a bit, but I wouldn't call them exactly hard. As an avid lover of point and click, I can wholeheartedly recommend this game, it is really excellent.
Not a huge adventure gamer, but as a huge MBR fan I picked up the game. The cyber punk vibe is very well done, with the graphics and music in perfect sync. The puzzles are better than previous adventure games I have played and fit the style of the game well, if you are familure with old school hacker culture. (ever order a pizza as a prank?)
Check it out if you are into cyberpunk or the whole synth wave style.
have a FAQ handy if you plan in old school mode. It's got some moon logic puzzles for sure. Enjoyed it, mostly. Art amd music was fun. Some cute easter eggs. One of the few games this year I actually finished (and I have raging ADHD).
After playing through the whole game, I found it very good! True to the nature of adventure/point and click games, and to the cyber scene.
Being a kid who grew playing classic adventure games like Sam & Max, Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle, first going online via BBSs, and then seeing the internet appear, the warez scene in its best early stage and all, this game was just perfect for my taste.
The story is very interesting, and actually very recent in relation to the current developments in the digital world, and it got me hooked. I liked the characters and the story behind them and, of course, I loved the graphics and music from the game.
For me, it's a 10/10 game for adventure lovers, but probably mostly for the players who like cyberpunk and technology themes.
Some puzzles are certainly hard, but if you have the courage to step back, and come back the next day, they are all solvable. Some are just a matter of scanning each scene to find a missing inventory piece, others are a matter of thinking and paying attention to dialogues.
I would say it's one of the most challenging point n' click games I've ever played, and I wish I hadn't gone through some tips/walktrhoughs because after going to them you realize you were just missing a point that wasn't hard to beat on your own.
Congratulations to the developers, it gives a really good honor to the best adventure games of our childhood, with beautiful pixel art and music.
BTW: I wish this game had voiceovers, but that doesn't bring any of the game down. Bad voice acting could have ruined the game in such a way that I am more than glad that it doesn't have the voiceovers.
