Sure, even middling ARPGs are almost always fun for an hour or so, but Victor Vran will keep you hitting stuff and collecting loot for a lot longer than you might expect.

To play this game online with a friend, you first need to create an account (for some reason). A 'GoG-Staff edit' in an earlier review, claimed the serial key would be for the multiplayer portion of the game and could be used as many times as needed. This is untrue! My brother created an account using the serial key. After that, my attempts to create another account failed with message, that the entered serial key was already used to create an account. My brother is currently attempting to contact GoG.com support to request a second multiplayer serial key. Until then, my rating will remain 1 star. If you want to play online with friends, i would recommend sticking to Steam and getting a 2-pack, unless you want extra hassle. I would guess joining a friend's game is also easier on steam.

Choppy as all hell!
After playing this game for only a few short minutes I realized that this game is choppy as all hell and it completely effects the gameplay and my interest in playing this game any further after about 30 minutes. They game looks fun I just wish I could play it. I have a late 2013 Macbook Pro with retina display that I completely maxed out when I bought it in the Spring of 2014....you tell me why it doesn't work so well.....

I've played this game before!
This game is an Adventures of Van Helsing clone, that's not entirely a bad thing, but it also doesn't live up to The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, this game seems even more low budget.
