Love this game
I don't play dungeon crawlers, but I love this one, wishlisted the upcoming prequel "Easy" is actually easy Combat is fun, character skills are fun, story is great

knock off RPG
alot of these "new" games get thier sales of of the "pitch" akin: "This game compares to Legend of Grimrock" or "Dungeon Master" well, I've got news for ya it don't! This game is a very bland and annoying attempt to recapture the classic era. The puzzels are dull, the environment is dull and the only "RPG" elemets are the mechanical "upgrades" the play character can add on his "armor". Also I don't honeslty know why GOG references Dungeon Master or Dungeon Master II at all on this or the sequal to this game as they don't even sell it!(and likely never will!).

Good. Worth the time to play.
Good Points : Interesting story with a twist at the end. Lots of puzzles and searching for secrets. Bad Points : A few of the puzzles are very frustratingly hard. "Greybeards" with slowing reflexes will have some timing problems.

I liked the general equipment and setup. There are a *lot* more circuit / suit / skill upgrade options than I expected. I've played for three, admittedly lazy, hours and gotten one single skill point. It seems like making a long term plan is impossible at this stage and points are rare. It's not a great RPG look. However, for the two star review... I turned a corner and fell in a hole. The fall was about the height of the character; so lets say two meters. This is instant death. That is some sad, Atari platformer junk that got old in the 80s. As icing on the cake, there's no autosave. I'm not backtracking an hour. I decided to make this the ultimate ironman run. One death. Uninstall. Come up with a different "challenge" mechanic.
