the lore develops in a way that feels like you're reading a book. the game mechanics are fun, but kinda exausting sometimes. for the bugs i found, it gave that fallout feeling: excelent story, great characters, but every once in a while you gotta close the game so it can reload and work properly

Really Well Told Story
This is a really well told 'Gothic' tale. The story is good, the soundtrack is phenomenal, the atmosphere is top-notch, the combat is really fun I disagree that the combat "is not spectacular, because it feels like total opposite of most vampire power fantasies". That is precisely the point because you are a NEW-BORN. You are a just-born vampire that is just beginning to live as one. Besides, you can get much more powerful later as you progress. And the story stays with you... However, I have to say there is a minor fly in the ointment. There is a bit too much woke content (but fortunately it is not overwhelming). You just HAVE to have a token interracial relationship (actually two AND suggest that YOU have a problem with it), a token gay relationship (AND suggest they are SO oppressed), and some feminists (that just HAVE TO whine about how the patriarchy denies them opportunities). All this is really unnecessary as it breaks you out of immersion. Anyway, I recommend this game. If a good, deep story and fleshed-out characters is what you want - go for it!
