A Near Perfect RPG Experience
I played vampire Masquerade Bloodlines when it first came out. Ever since then, I’ve looked for the same gaming experience. I think I enjoyed playing it again more than the original time. This time, I could ramp up the graphics, and I didn’t have to wait for the CD’s to load scenes – sometimes crashing. This is a great RPG experience. I’ve never played any other game that creates just a vivid world. The writing is incredible, with a great sense of dark humor. Missions can be carried out using multiple styles. The scenery is just as engaging as it was 20 years ago, and the NPCs are individuals with great backstories and voice acting. True, some of the cut scenes look a little janky by modern standards, but they don’t detract from the experience. Replaying VMB is by far the best RPG experience I’ve had in years.

Stellar! Have the time of your unlife!
Brilliant in every way, and the unofficial patch is truly a one click install that makes the game stable, more than playable, and even adds some cut content. Give it a shot!

still great
I haven't played this game before, but i'm glad that i'm playing it for the first time with the patch. the game still feels clunky, especially if you open doors. but this game has this not so open world, wich is kind of simple but you won't be blown away by endless sidequests wich all feel the same - instead you discover some handmade places and see really quick what's important and what's not. i haven't played for so long, but i hope the story will catch up a little, but i'm sure it will.
