Pure gem of an RPG.
With a lot of the bugs ironed out, this game really surprised me. The atmosphere is outstanding and the story is quite decent, even the little side missions add something. While the combat is a little ropey it can still be fun at times. I've replayed it several times and it's always captured me again.

Best RPG of the 2000s
While the graphics haven't aged amazingly well, the facial expressions are still good (better than some RPGs that "just work"), the art direction is quite good and the writing is absolutely on-top. What absolutely drags the game down is the combat, but most of the time there are ways to avoid it and when there are not, there are cheats to deal with the cheese. Even despite that, I will absolutely replay the game a couple more times, because the RPG elements are just that good.

Best game I ever played this October
Okay, sure the graphic is dated, but the game is overall refreshing as ever. It makes you keep playing it as side quests are more added. I can't wait to play it again later.
