A finishing touch
A nice addition to the game, DLC basically gives you a new location, The Sunken Tower and few questlines based around it. Tower by itself is an ever changing Vagrus-style dungeon in which you have to find things you need. Bit of repetitive, but the story covers it. And if you a here, you like games that pull you in with their story. I belive tower was meant to be played with high level companions so be wary, there are some preatty nasty fights. About a new victory condition, well cant say for certain, because i played it in freeplay mode, after i finished my second playtrough, but there might be some problems. I belive one of the new questlines called "For Posterity" is actually the victoray condition for Ambition Knowledge. I could not finish it, because i miss one Codex log. Some creature (or plant) called "Iyabwi". And i have no idea where to find it. It may be i missed it somewhere, but i have no clues where to look. Kind of irritating, since i have 220 out of 224 Codex entry. I played the game twice, first playtrough with Ambition Wealth, and finished it. Next time after first DLC wirh Ambition Renown and it was easiest. You could change ambition ingame however. All in all it is a nice piece of the Riven Realms Lore , fells like it gives a few answers about the world around you, rather then giving you new questions. I reckon that this DLC was meant as a part of integral game, just was not ready in time. Seems to me it gives the idea how will the game evolve, and i do hope it will evolve. Occasioonal well written new adventures based around new locations and companions is what i am hoping for, thats for sure. I loved DLC just as i loved the whole game, Few non essential bugs cant change that. I give it 4 stars only because of damn "Iyabwi". Its free, and it can be played after you finished the game. So, what are you waiting for? :) And, for for the love of Triumvirate, if you know what "Iyabwi" is and where can i find one, please tell me. :)
