Not even a game
I can't even call this a game. It's more like what an amateur game developer would smush up to get the creative juices going while developing a real game. And it's not even fun considering that.

Horrible on every level
Having played Sid Meier's Civil War, I can safely say that all tactical and strategic elements present are missing in this game. Units retreat and regroup randomly, sometimes mere seconds after changing stance. No way to measure morale and nothing will prevent a unit from randomly retreating from an inferior enemy dispite having flank and rear support. You will often end the game without many casualties... which does not make any sense since Gettysburg was the worse battle fought on US soil. I'm pretty sure many of the comments are either paid for or fake.

An American still believes in freedom.
I bought this both because I have heard that it is an excellent game from a reputable source, and because of the startling shift in appreciation of freedom in the Unites States of America. Freedom of speech is at stake. The things that make us great, that separate us from the rest. Fascists ban things, communists ban things, tyrants, dictators, oligarchs, they all ban things. Here is is supposed to be different. Here we are supposed to be free. Freedom!
