Ultima™ 7 The Complete Edition

I won't say much as others have already commented on what makes this game great. I will just say that there are still some bugs and issues that cause the game to hang. In addition there are some quality of life things from Serpent Isle that aren't implemented in Black Gate. If you've already bought and paid for the game then you'd do well to look for Exult, which patches up Black Gate a fair deal (improvements include a hotkey for the spellbook, a hotkey for 'feed', I believe a hotkey for using every key you have, etc.) Don't mean to cast aspersions on GoG. This is still an excellent game and a release that surpasses the original.

This is my favorite RPG. Well I suppose it's my favorite game of all time. I played the two parts with expansions a number of times since the 90s and I will probably play it again. There is a frontend for the game called Exult that fixes bugs, graphics, gameplay and other nuances. I recommend the game but not without the Exult engine. Writing about it is making me want to install this on the media system to see how it fares.

One of the all time greats. Cannot recommend this game enough.

That all other CRPG's aspire to live up to. This game set the standard that they will all be compared to forever after. Ultima VII deserves every bit of praise it ever received. The only downside to this game is how disappointing and bittersweet Origin's follow up efforts were.

I had not known of ultima since the spoony one talked about it (check him out!) and in seconds, i bought the game and i played it for a little while, and all it took was that little while to realise this awesome gaming gem that time seemed to have forgot about, at least for me. Have the money to get it? and love RPGs? get it, it's worth while! only one problem, if your a person that gets confused quickly, you might want to get a pen and paper, it can be difficult to keep track of alot of the quests, but other wise get it!
