And obviously Microsol, the Terraforming company wants you dead too! It's that huge new rock formation you and Buce uncovered - it's Gravitium, and it's priceless. Tyrian is the only planet where it exists in commercial quantities, and Microsol are determined to control it. You can expect them to throw all their resources against you - and they won't pull any punches.

Great Vertical Scrolling Shooter

Tyrian 2000 is a vertical scrolling shooter (like Galaga) and it is great. The gameplay is fun, the controls are great, the soundtrack is fun to listen to, the ship customization is fun, it is one of the best vertical scrolling shooters I've played. Plus, it's free.

many say the original Tyrian is better? im not sure why, tyrian 2000 improved everything about the original. a funny and well crafted shootem em up for dos!

An absolute classic

This is free and it's a 10/10 game. I used to play this as a kid with my best mate on mouse and joystick, it was incredible then and it's incredible now!
