Pilsner among Coke and Pepsi
This is a very... pleasant game. Meaning, nothing in it is unpleasant. Truberbrook is a total freestyler and it takes time to get use to it. I was about to delete it until I loved it. Nothing in this game is serious and I had a feeling that developers are messing with me. In a friendly way. Puzzles are crazy thus funny, forget using logic to solve them, running out all option is the only tactic. Story builds up very slowly but when ripe is very engaging. I haven't done game sessions of more then two hours for years, since original Tomb Rider. Music and voice acting is very good with nice local accents adding up to the atmosphere. Dialogues script is also good. Graphics are also very good. All sums up into a peaceful and relaxing experience from German small town hiding the quantum secret. Truberbrook is also a very philosophical but not in a pompous manifesto way (I'm looking at you Swapper, Witness, Sojourn) but in a humble, non-pushy humorous way. On a market flooded with hundreds of games which differ one from the other as much as Coke from Pepsi (I know I'm a brave man), the Truberbrook is a real Pilsener. For the full price is too expensive as I completed it in 8+ HRS and I take my time. Bottom line is it's excellent entertainment for mature audience with a lot of patience and will to revise their expectations.
