Did I already mention bugs? Well, in case I didn't, this game is full of frustrating bugs. Sloppily made, unpolished, DLC farm. I guess it is possible to have fun with this game if you are willing to overlook the bugs and dumbed down mechanics.
Bugs.
As I usually do, I checked some reviews and gameplay videos on Youtube before buying this. Some were saying that Tropico 4 is the best in the series, which it may well be, but I preferred the features and looks in Tropico 6.
Given that I haven't played any previous version, it made sense to get the latest one, so I did.
Didn't really have a clue what I was doing initially, but there are plenty of guides on how to get started, because the logistics alone in this game, pretty challenging for a newcomer, but after playing it for most of the day/night yesterday, shortly after I bought it, it's worth taking the time to practice and make MANY mistakes, but that's how we learn, from our mistakes ;-)
So far, loving it, great fun and really gets the old grey matter ticking-over nicely.
I love Tropico for it ssense of humour but I have to say the city building element is brilliant and has the usual tropico flair and charm. Worth every penny.
