Trepang 2 has a pretty narrow focus, but it does the bloody first-person combat genre proud. Kudos to developer Trepang for doing a few things really well and not trying to make the next Call of Duty clone. Trepang 2 borrows a few ideas from F.E.A.R. and snags some mechanics from classic shooters, and the result is both fresh and familiar fun.

Despite a few technical hiccups, Trepang2 is an absolute banger from start to finish, providing exquisite gunplay and an intricate narrative. If you're looking for an adrenaline-fueled and horror-inducing shooter that keeps you on the edge of your seat, look no further because Trepang2 has got it all.

Exhilarating Super Soldier Dream
The tight controls mixed with super soldier powers really shine in this high action gore fest. Tons of replayability with multiple difficulties, unlocks, customization, and enemy types.

RIP Monolith
Its like someone made FEAR concentrate and rebuilt the game with modern graphics and 5 times the enemies. Pros: Fast intense combat, brilliant particle effects for fire, gunshots, explosions and envornmental destruction. Slowmo ability helps to highlight the attention to detail. Cons: Sometimes feels a bit repetitive. Gameplay doesnt dramatically evolve throughout. Infomation overload with all the Unreal engine effects. Overall 4.5-5.

Not recommended
This game is way over priced, repetitive, gross, dark, and apparently short. The focus feature is useful but that's all I can say that's positive. Don't buy Trepang2 unless it's on deep discount. Better yet, play the demo, as that's the best part, or F.E.A.R. 2 that's vastly more fun and a quarter of the price.

If you have played any amount of Halo 2 then you know how to use and abuse camo. The story is also generic.
