Nice but unsupported

Transport Fever 2 is a toothless but still ultimately enjoyable simulation of all things infrastructure. As you set up resource lines, passenger routes and more, you'll see the world develop and grow around your inputs and influence which is enjoyable and even an addictive thing. Simple and easy to get into, the core problem is that it takes simple a little too literally, with the game offering no real challenge throughout any game mode. Still, if you enjoy this sort of game, you could do a lot worse than Transport Fever 2.

If you're new to the series, Transport Fever 2 is a great place to start. The campaign offers a gentle introduction to transportation logistics, while the late game guides you through managing modern cities. The new demand and production mechanics may annoy some more experienced players, who will also notice that this game isn't as much of a step forwards as Transport Fever 1 was over Train Fever, but fans will definitely find endless hours of replayabilty as they grow and master their transport empire.

TF 2 review
I have played with the OpenTTD earlier and i was looking for a similiar game. I found this and honestly, I'm this is way better than that game. The graphics is so good, nice soundtracks and the game mechanics are really great. I'm getting addicted to it, so i'm full with happiness :D

I got this just yesterday and I love it so far. There are a couple of things to take-note of, if you're intending to buy it... I had to readjust the way I play it, due to having NO colour vision, colour-coded prompts/points in the very first mission, left me seriously struggling, but I stuck with it and did manage to complete it... Eventually. There is no frame-rate cap, so I had to use my 'AMD Software Adrenalin Edition' to limit the frame-rate to 60FPS. The fans on my graphics card, even on medium graphics setting, were running at full-speed, 500+ FPS :-/. Once I adjusted the 'Radeon Chill' setting, it stopped that issue, so now even on very high graphics, my fans are silent ;-). Anyway, a great game overall, even with those 2 issues, hence the 5-star rating :-).

Well Done Game But...
Great Graphics and Audio, bought all the DLCs, has enough material to keep you entertained for days. Biggest drawback are the numbers & calculations, it seems I am paying for everything twice and then some. A vehicle purchased cash is being deducted again every month (not maintenance) and any other expenses like building. Putting the player's budget into negative eventually. IT'S ALREADY PAID FOR ! I know this was a copy from the old TDD game, but did they have to copy this major "accounting" flaw ??? You recover from negative in 2-5 years but then vehicles start going bad. As for vehicles, not a large variety and by design older models disappear altogether, nothing futuristic past 2025. USA vehicles largely missing, overhead cabs stopped being used ~1980s. There is an overall emphasis on what China is using. The customization is great and it includes a map editor. Not the worst game but it could've been GREAT & maybe Perfect. Overall a good game for the price that holds my interest in building & managing transport networks.

Probably Transport Fever 1.5.
TF1 was the second title in Urban Games library. It had several nice concepts and dragged the genre kicking and screaming into the world of 3D. It began on shady ground but got better in time. I think TF2 will end up the sam way. With aloth higher fidelity of graphics and good sound the game feels fresh. It looks and sounds fantastic. The enginge it self is clearly improved, no matter what people say. It runs butter smooth. However, even if the UI has improved compared to previous game, it is still a repeat of earlier misstakes. Everything has taken a leaf from the book of Apple and Microsoft. It flat as papers. There are NO distinction between forground and background. Text and words denotes buttons and tabs. It is a horrible design even if the colour scheme is better. Some default opening positions of windows are very strange. They hide buttons. Name fields are to short. Some buildings have questionable behaviour and can create frustration. But the improved world creation and many other features still makes it a good game. Which will improve as it matures. Wait a while and but it a bit later, after a few patches. At full price it is only worth it too people really into this genre. It is good, but could have been much better. It also requires that you have gcc 7.1 if you are a linux user. It will not start otherwise.
