I really like it because it's a realistic train driving simulation game. In addition, it also allows you to play in a management-style mode. If you love trains, I highly recommend giving it a try — it won't disappoint you.
I encountered a game-breaking bug that wouldn't allow me to move the train, it was getting stuck in either reverse or forward mode, so it was impossible to continue without deleting the entire save file.
It's decently good, I loved it, but there's clearly many bugs that need fixing first to make this as playable as possible.
Drive [trains] around Europe, taking cargo, passengers, or post from station to station, factory, or other facility, buy and upgrade locomotives, hire other drivers to work for you, and compare to Euro Truck Simulator (2),
This is not quite as polished as ETS, but the graphics, map, and gameplay [train driving, tycoon-style] are good. I have had a couple of crashes, after my train crashed but the only ETS feature I miss here is being able to tell your staff to just find their own jobs.
TL;DR If you like driving games, business games, or - obviously - train games then this is easy to recommend.
