Fun, but not great
Great soundtrack, interesting story, diverse races. But somewhat lackluster for all that. I think the simplification to a single resource, though well intentioned, reduced the complexity of the game, and the use of fantasy tropes was also a little limiting in combat. That said, the campaign was enjoyable, and the world very rich. Worth playing, but no where near as good as the original TA.
