Drew Blanc is a cartoon animator and the original creator of the Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun Show.. Drew's boss, Sam Schmaltz (played by Ben Stein), sets him the task of designing more bunnies to co-star in the Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun Show by the next morning. However, the depressed animator soon nods off, suffering from acute artist's block. He wakes early the next morning to inexplicably find his television switched on, announcing the Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun Show. Suddenly, Drew is mysteriously drawn into the television screen and transported to an idyllic two-dimensional cartoon world populated by his own creations, among many other cartoon characters.
To get home, you'll need to unravel the secrets of these loony lands before they unravel you permanently. Outsmart demented clowns, shock the socks off cross-dressing livestock, and match wits with a diabolical Count named Nefarious. It's a mind-reeling toonatopia that'll have you acting so depraved you might even shock yourself. Send someone an exploding turkey. Watch Spike the Clown torture balloon animals. If you've got any energy left after those escapades then try and prevent an all-out war between the cartoon forces of good and evil. Word to the wise: BETTER PACK AN ANVIL!

I have played about every whos who of adventure games and this one is EASILY in my top 3. The game is just pure fun while also making sense. There was only a couple times where I had to look up a walkthrough and after I did I felt stupid for having to look opposed to some where I feel even more confused after looking up the answer. If you like point and click games and you havent played this....shame on you. Great game, add it to your cart and enjoy.
One of my all-time favorite point-and-click games. First off, you get to play as Christopher Lloyd, and he's wonderful. There's lots of funny characters you come in contact with. I don't want to say much about what happens in the game, but he gets sucked into his own cartoon world he's created then is trying to find his way out. I played this game so many times growing up on CD's and now I'm very excited to be able to play it as much as I want thanks to GOG without having to change discs over. I could probably recite the whole game from beginning to finish.
I'm not the oldest gamer around, so I didn't grow up around all the adventure games of old like Sam and Max or Harvester. However, anyone of any age has probably heard horror stories about the annoying difficulty those old games could bring. Pixel hunting, inane solutions, and unhelpful characters terrorized some of these games. However, Toonstruck isn't one of those games.
In this game you control Drew (Christopher Lloyd) as you traverse a cartoon land with 4 distinct areas littered with fun and interesting characters. At your side is your friend Flux (Dan Castellaneta) who, despite seemingly only being around to make fun of you and your efforts, helps you solve the problems in his world time and time again. The little guy really does grow on you, and the banter between Drew and Flux is both sarcastic and heartwarming at the same time. Really, all of the characters are done brilliantly. They all feel distinct and alive thanks to the wonderful performances of equally famous individuals such as Jim Cummings, Tress MacNeille, and Tim Curry. The only iffy one would potentially be a certain character you meet early in the game, but I'll let you decide if you want to be offended or not (you'll know which one, trust me).
Outside of the characters, everything else is very good as well. The art still looks good thanks to it's unique style, the music being both not overbearing and giving a great charm to each area, and the puzzles actually making sense for the most part in relation to the world the game is set in. I admit that I did have to use a walkthrough a few times, as the game gets more challenging later on, but I say 90-95% of the puzzles can be done without one. That's a big plus to me, as I hate games that make themselves too cryptic just to draw out game time.
I'm running out of words, so I'll just end with this. This game is a champion of it's genre, and obviously had a lot of heart put into it. Try it out and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Amazing characters, dialogues, environments, situations, music... and Christopher Lloyd! This game really marked my childhood and I'm glad it hasn't fallen into oblivion.
If you don't know it just look for the intro... it's like Back to Who Framed Roger Rabbit!
I first played the game over 20 years ago when I was a small kid. Only now I understand that it wasnt really meant for kids, despite the colourful setting. ))
The game has an interesting story, good atmosphere, nice characters. It captures a certain fell of the early 90's. Puzzles were a bit confusing and tedious at times, but generally ok. I must admit, I cheated by using a walkthrough on the later part of the game as I just wanted to finish this to resolve my curiousity from back then.
The part I disliked the most was the ending. I think that part will be disliked by most.
However, I would recommended playing this if youre a puzzle fan, like adventurous stories and dont mind the somewhat dated visuals.
