Tomb Raider: Legend

Good game, it runs very well.

After Tomb Raider AoD it flows like river.

Slightly janky and dated, Tomb Raider Legend is still a game worth picking up for Tomb Raider fans. The story is an interesting exploration of Lara's past, even if it is a 'rebooted' past which bears no semblance to her actual origins. Lara's writing and voice acting are probably at their peak in this game however. Every line delivered with a charasmatic devil-may-care nonchalance which elevates her above the terrifying chaos all around her. The game has some genuinely interesting puzzles and locations, with Tomb Raider Legend visiting more countries than any other Tomb Raider game. The controls can feel a bit janky and unpolished at times and the camera uncooperative but they're functional for the most part. Just don't activate the 'next gen content' in the graphics menu as it causes horrific graphical glitches and game crashes.

Just remember to turn off "Next generation content" mode because makes the game crash on certain levels (for me at the Kazakhstan level)

I had fun getting to approximately 50% but gave up on the game. The mechanics were good for its time, and some of the puzzles are pretty good, but the "boss fights" were just tiresome. Also, the "enhanced graphics" kept causing the game to freeze and lock up my workstation. If you're enjoy boss fights breaking up a good puzzle platformer, this would be good for you. If not, I would pass on it.
