you will cry
this has to be one of the most beautiful games i have played in a long time with top notch story telling and a great soundtrack and it made me cry with how emotional it is the gameplay is solid as well + getting it for $3.99 was a steal :)

Like a dream...
What an amazingly touching RPG! This one's more like a movie than a game, but an interactive one nonetheless. The story is a cross between The Butterfly Effect and Inception and the music is exceptional! It's a short game (only about 6 hours long) but well worth it. There's a reason Indie games shouldn't be discredited or ignored. ♥

Beautiful.
To The Moon is an example of a game where the narrative is perfectly served by the mechanics, and that's something we need to see more of. The brilliant story, packed with fun characters and genuine emotion, is made easier to go through by the simplistic VN/adventure game mechanics, which stay out of the way without feeling token. That's a tough balance to pull off, but these guys did it perfectly. This should go down in the books as a perfect example of mechanics and narrative having no seams.

Good movie.
While there is very little gameplay to be seen this is probably the best thing to come out of RPG Maker. It has a very moving story and is told exceptionally well. It is almost as sad as the beginning of Up. I hope the sequel can recapture what this game did.

Touching, witty, charming, beautiful...
This game is a gem. Though it was only a few hours long, it is definitely going down in my books as one of my favorite gaming experiences to date. It was intricately and excruciatingly moving, and with witty humor tastefully sprinkled throughout! As others have stated, this is not a challenging game filled with tricky sequences of action or brain-teasing puzzles; quite simply, it's more of a visual novel. That's fine if that's not up your alley, but (especially considering the extremely modest price) I would beg you to try something different and give this game a go.
