I got this game on Steam when it launched.
In my opinion, it's a very well polished, with captivating characters, soundtrack and graphics.
I enjoyed the control mechanics that on more advanced levels can feel like managing the timeline of a video editing tool. There were many times that I was trying to optimize my timing even if the game did not ask for it.
It's short, about 6~10 hours. The puzzles are nice, and I enjoyed it overall.
Note that if you find all the artifacts you get an extra scene at the end.
I bought this game since I love the idea of combining stealth + rewind time mechanics. What I got, well...
This is a puzzle game where you avoid being spotted in impossible scenarios by doing trial and error and moving exactly where enemies are not looking in any given second. It works, it's fun but the potential is, simply put, wasted.
It's all too minimal. The game is very short. You get to control more than 1 character to create spectacular combo of distract-enemy-then-move-unnoticed, which is cool, What is not cool that you only get to control up to 2 characters and only in about half of missions.
The levels are small, there is only 1 type of enemy, there is very few abilities to use and the game can be finished in couple of hours.
Presentation is ok with buts. Graphics are pretty but animations are slow and annoying. Music is nice but sound effects are lackluster. Story is poorly presented, using drawn-out cutscenes where your protagonist is moving forward, and I was too dumb to understand what's going on even after finishing the game. You are sad because you lost something so dystopian robots, therefore enjoy art. I think.
Overall, nice attempt and I recommend trying it out when it's on sale, but don't expect anything remotely grand.
Maybe it is short, but this is one of the best puzzle games I've played. The design of the levels is brilliant. The challenge is never too easy or too difficult and some of the solutions do require some good thinking & coordination especially when you can also control the cat.
The controls are simple, very polished and so are the graphics. A little more variety in the graphical design of levels would have been nice but this is still a gorgeous game.
What a game. You play a little girl in a dream, trying to escape from robots. You can rewind time and see the path of the enemies. The goal is to go to the exit without getting caught. It start quite easy, but toward the end, that's is another story. If you really like difficulty try and do relics challenge. Complete them all and you will have a bonus scene at the end.
I'm not really a puzzle fan guy, but i enjoyed it. I bought this game because of his minimalist graphic style and the atmosphere that looked mastered. Well it is. Plus, the music is beautiful.
Concerning the story, not too much, just what you need to understand what's hapenning.
The DLC : Hell Loop(free) i just started seems to be more trickier.
Some BlackSpot : it's a little repetitive and the bonus scene is really short.
If you don't like riddle and puzzle this isn't the game for you.
I'm 3/4 on the game completion, haven't finished it yet. But puzzles becoming brutal. Yet it feels so good when you've beaten a level. Plus hte game allows you to look at your progress and see how you made it in the end.
Worth it.
