This War of Mine has been giving you a thrilling experience of living through the war as a civilian for five years since its release. Numerous updates and expansions have broadened the experience and filled it with more shades and tonalities of hard civilian existence during wartime. Now, honoring the 5th anniversary of the original release, 11 bit studios proudly presents to you This War of Mine: Final Cut.
This War of Mine: Final Cut contains all the updates and free expansions released so far and introduces not only a new scenario but also expands all scenarios with the locations known from Stories DLCs - even if you don’t own those. In short words - that means you can now experience lots of never-seen-before playthroughs and struggle with new challenges.

About This War Of Mine:
In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.
Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE on ALIENWARE
I was lured by the positive reviews but the game makes my Alienware Aurora R4 behave erratically: as soon as I install it, it causes an instananous reboot as soon as I hit "Launch the game" button. This has never happened with no other game, not from this store nor from Steam. All the leds went crazy as if it was christmas, and just so you know, AA R4 has a LOT of them. The only time I managed to launch the game, it took 5 minutes to get to the "ALIENWARE" advertisement - no way! the game is actually advertising Alienware! - and then stuck so badly I had to cold reboot. All problems went away the moment I uninstalled it. I wanted to put it here so that the devs might actually see it.

First in full disclosure I was provided with a preview/review copy of This War of Mine. Having said that over the past year I have received a number of preview/review copies and it has never colored my opinion of a title. I do much better in video then I do written. Having said that, here I go. This War of Mine hits everything I look for in a game. I am a long time RPG player going all the way back to Ultama. I have always said that the most important part of a game to me is the story. With TWoM I have learned that it goes beyond just the story. It is the full immersion of said story that is the most important. TWoM does that using all aspects, the story, the graphics, the gameplay, they all draw you into the game. So much so that I have found myself looking up at the clock only to realize I had been play for hours and totally inside the story the whole time.

Why the GOG version don't have Final Cut game update, and! cannot support cloud_saves? what the hell 11 bit studios, are you kidding me? If you don't want to posted on GOG, fuck off.
