I have seen Thief Simulator 2 as well and that one is more polished in terms of the system However this game still got more content IMO (But no idea if more content are added to TS2 now) I bought this on 90% off so it's good enough

better than average
besides the mouse being to sensitive from the start. this game is great well worth the 20 bucks. driving disasembling cars security systems. fun not overly serious. and the story is ok and gives you a general idea of what to do. but you can do as you see fit.

It's fine
When I first played it, I thought it only had the first neighbourhood to play in, but I was pleasantly surprised there actually is more to this game. Relating to "being abandonned by devs" reviews, it's not the case really. Updates for GOG version are realesing, just some time after Steam version ones. I'm only speculating, but PlayWay may have some agreement with Valve that their Thief Simulator games (and their other games maybe) are getting updates and DLCs to Steam versions earlier than here, on GOG.

Not Updated
As of March 2025, the GOG version of this game was abandoned for sure. I came here to get it cheap with DLCs, only to find that the DLCs were never released on GOG. The only up to date version of Thief Simulator can be purchased on Steam. Avoid buying this.
