2025 lets go

Reinstalling the 50gb next gen version over stupid slow 5g internet to play again in 2025, the game is that good. People are recommending the "Brothers in Arms" patch from Nexusmods that fixes the bugs (5000+) that are still in the game. That being said when I finished the vanilla story a few years ago I didn't have any mods/patches installed and it ran just fine. But for the best possible experience in 2025 I am going to try a few of the QOL mods this time. Soundtrack is still probably best ever in a video game.

One of the ALL-TIME BEST GAMES EVER

Skip all the negative reviews and opinions from other players. This game is on another level. This game is the G.O.A.T. . . . THE G.O.A.T. Forget you need any streaming services. Cancel any streaming service subscription you have. You won't need them. The story, the cut-scenes, the playthrough, the graphics, the characters, the music, the open world, the monsters, the possibilities with the easy to understand level system, etc., etc., this game is AWESOME!!!. It is soooo good and so great that even when it crashed into an error, I was not even mad. Just load the game again, and kept playing it. That's how a games should be made. CDPR, you guys nailed it.

The definitive Witcher's experience!

Where to start I feel so overwhelmed, this is really the best game I have played in my entire life, I have more than 20 years playing on PC and I have played many types of games mainly RPG and this condenses all the good of the rpg of a a way that grabs you and leaves you ecstatic. First-rate story, beautiful and very realistic graphics, especially the landscapes that put you into their atmosphere, well-built characters that do not leave you indifferent and for which you develop a range of very human feelings that take you from laughter to tears without even realize it.

GOTD - Game of the decade

My all time favorite game, I just can't leave in in the past and keep coming back to play it. I have probably around 700 hours in it. I played this game in full 4 times, in two separate instances even completing everything on the map there is (unmarked encounters and all skellige loot too). Its hard to write review to do this game justice. In short graphics are still very good (especially with mods that they provided support for). Atmosphere is incredible, beside setting I really must highlight soundtracks as they are one of the best ones I've ever heard in game or movie. Nitpicking - fire, water, folliage could be better, also draw distance could be higher (adjustable). You can always find things to be made better :) I really liked gameplay (enemies, mechanics), its engaging but not too hard so it doesn't harm story telling. Except on Death march where everything is a chore to kill, tehnical diffculty not higher HP is what should make game harder. Similar goes for new game+ which I ddin't like, its better to just start from null. Now the main thing in this game is really the story. The main one is okay, you get involved, its interesting, with ups and downs, quite enjoyable. But it has problems with rushed ending, it emphasizes Wild hunt a lot but show us very little of them and decisions that determin outcomes are questionable. Despite that I still liked it, due to all great side missions and "3D - belivable" characters. BOW expansion is just the best, story, setting, music, writing, chracters. Superb. Almost the same goes for HOS, but mission "Great heist" - its too cliche and doesn't fit. Game as such has a lot of appropriation from movies and especially folklore. But its mostly very well done, fitting and a lot of times amusing. TLDR; Graphics and gameplay are great. Game has a vast world thats full of missions, encounters, easter eggs,... Its also thematic and stories are very well made and interesting, but some still have room for improvment.
