Best game I have ever played.
I was a bit sceptical at first, but at the moment this is the best game I have ever played. CD Project created something incredible in the world of Sapkowski. This game is a masterpiece for RPG/fantasy fans.

Can't get in to it
I've really wanted to like this game, tried it multiple times but... I just can't get in to it. There's simply too much cutscenes for my taste. Each conversation is practically a cutscene. It's all very drawn out, tedious and I can't immerse in to actually playing the game. On the other hand, I can't skip the convos because I will miss out on the story. I appreciate the attempt to make a cinematic experience out of the game, but it's just not for me. One of things I love at big, open world rpgs is the ability to ignore the main story line and do side quests and just wonder around. I can't do that here. The aforementioned cinematic-like conversations make me feel like not wanting to talk to npcs and pick up side quests and the main plot feels too imposed. 2/5 from me. This game does not fit my taste.

Gamma settings problems kill it
This is a great game, and fun to play. It really should be a game in the high 4's in rating, as most reviews show. However, if you have problems with the gamma range available it's totally unplayable until you go in and half bake a solution by manually modifying it. Worth a try, if you get lucky, you'll have fun, otherwise it's unplayable. Yes, this problem by itself really is worth knocking 2 points off. 3 different monitors (really 2 and 1 projector), all three required different custom settings hand adjusted and calculated for usability. Even within the game you will constantly need to fiddle around with this setting.
