The Absolute Game! No less, No more!

Music have 5th synphony of Beethoven, Open world games have Witcher 3! ;D Seriously, this game do not suffer any strange choices or producers ideas. The game is fresh, never pretencious, made by passionates. We feel that it's a chef d'oeuvre based on great books. Or not... in fact we just feel we are a witcher! The Witcher 3 is My Absolute Game! I played so many hours in more than last 9 months. I just bought XboxOne X exclusivelyb for it (4k 60hz HDR!!!). I played and replayed my saves until got the liked choices ! I avoid to use Fast Travel; I prefer travel the world with my horse (same in others games lol) It's like a good Wine. Geralt looks so real. Novigrad is so funny city, events may occur at any time any places. Skellidge is so intersting place, Vellen is so crap hahaha! So, I decided to buy it again on PC to replay it with my all new great PC! And for mods :D For info: I played FF15 then Zelda then Horizon and finally I go to The Witcher 3 on Xbox One X .... the oldest but really the ultimate ! All others are just very great inspired games ;D FF15 have friends, roads, beautifull FF universe and is a good starter. Zelda have oniric world and zelda style. <3 Horizon has a great world, a solid story, mekas and great archery. ;D All are fanstatic and incredible games that you should play too! But The Witcher 3 is so more; It has a real living world that we can feel! A story that touch you! Choices that affect you! I am so happy to did not played those games in a different order! ;)

Very respectable!

The story is spectacular at times and boring as hell at others. Mostly high marks to be fair. Secondary quests are pretty cool mostly I would say. Now, there is this thing called 'contracts' and 'treasure hunts'...boring as f***. I just tended to avoid treasure hunts altogether and did several contracts before recognising it's just same s***. With the amount of walking you need to do in the game including the little fast travel doodads...hell no! Follow scent of this or trail of that...no! In principle great, but fell flat on the face since it's not done much more tactfully. Character development was somehow much more satisfying in the second instalment and even in the first. The expansions were pretty cool, the one with Gaunter O'Dimm is very cool and the other one is pretty good as well but I kinda lost interest by the time I had to water my vineyard and whatnot. Gwent was my favourite thing about the game. Enjoyed that more than anything else. Voice acting was tedious at times with all of that 'medieval peasant' accent. Mostly excellent with a heaping pile of bad (for my tastes) so it gets four stars from me. I think that's fair.

A Master Piece of all NON jrpg types

This RPG represent a large history of events about witchers novels. This developer take a lot of dedication for give you the escent and represent the character geralt in this game. 800 hours isnt enough, 2015 and i still play this game. 10/10 for sure
