Witcher 2 is work of art. Excellent graphics, story, and role-playing dynamics. Like Metro 2033 a lot of detail went into the design of the world of Witcher 2. It does have flaws, however. In a world that should run seamless and smooth, character and NPC animations aren't varied enough and turn kind of awkward and abrupt. Strafing and running straight or backwards look weird. Also, dialogue tends to repeat and isn't varied enough. Like in fight scenes. The same thing is repeated over and over again. However, the game is worth a five star for all the other good things about that completely outweigh the flaws.

I've played many RPG's, but The Witcher is the best I've ever played! I come from Poland and I'm proud of Polish programist, b'cause they are able to do something so amazing like The Witcher game. And greetings to Andrzej Sapkowski, writer, who created world of The Witcher!

A nice and simple review. Great game, Excellent graphics, amazing story, and well implemented. For anyone wanting to buy it, CHECK YOUR HARDWARE! can be very system intensive.

Witcher 2 is a really great game, but it has a terrible input lag that not only affects mouse movement, but is also there when playing with a controller.

This game is unplayable on Mac. Whoever ported it did a terrible job. Its extremely laggy and the colours/graphics are very blurry. It looks much worse than the first game which ran quite well. I got about 5 minutes in and had to stop playing and get it for console.
