巫师2：国王刺客加强版

When you get a high expectation of a game it is difficult to be impressed when you finally play the game. Well this game bowled me away. From the graphics, voice acting, sound effects and the story I am still in awe. All the best elements of my favourite RPG's were used from Mass Effect to Assassins Creed. Making it the best combination ever. Still Playing the game but enjoying every moment of it.

Very very happy with this game so far - well worth waiting for. Graphics / performance is very good on my system after using latest Nvidia Beta drivers and I love the option to use a gamepad which matches some of the very dynamic combat very well. Combat feels fast, visceral and challenging with combination of attacks, blocks, dodges and use of spells giving a far greater level of satisfaction than some other recent RPGs which follow greatly simplified combat models. Character models and gameworld design is excellent and I am very happy that Geralt still has very similar features to Witcher 1 (some early screenshots made him look a bit brutish) Voice acting and music is excellent and there is more story content in the initial tutorial levels than in some complete games ! The GOG Bonus content and DRM free model add further value I sat up way too late last night playing this - and this is an incomplete review for a game which will take many days to complete - but I wanted to at least say how delighted I am with this. Once again - a little team in Poland shows the world how RPGs should be done !

I was going to buy this on steam/retail, but decided to buy it here to support it being released drm free. My computer is a little older and just makes the minimum requirements needed, but I have to say that it still looks and runs absolutely fantasic. I have recommended this to everyone I know that enjoys RPGs. It's that enjoyable.

The Witcher 2, what can I say? This game is oozing with excellence! The characters are interesting (and sometimes sexy!), Geralt is even more bad-ass than before and he has a large can of whoop-ass with more than enough to go around. With that being said there are some things the game does exceedingly well, such as the dialogue, graphics, music and sound and the environments. But there are also a few things it could improve upon, like the combat system/mechanics, which in the early game is a bit hard to handle groups of enemies and the targeting methods can often have you switching enemies in the middle of a fight. If you can get past the quirks of the combat you will find yourself in a dark-fantasy world filled with cutthroat bandits, dangerous beasts, bad-ass dwarves, gallant knights, sharp swords, big tits, round asses, and most important of all choices, your actions as Geralt of Rivia will decide the fate of the Northern Kingdoms!

I just wanted to say Thank you GOG. For people unaware, in Australia, publishers like to add an 'You live in Australia' tax onto all games, and we end up having to pay quite a lot extra than everyone else. On Steam, this game is $75. While GOG doesn't then sell it to us for $50, because they can't because that is the publisher set price which GOG can't control, they do give you three discount codes in your invoice. You get 1 free $6 game, and 2 free $10 games. How awesome is that?
