巫师2：国王刺客加强版

This is the Oblivion of the Witcher series. It isn't nearly as good as the Witcher 3, much like Oblivion isn't nearly as good as Skyrim, but like Oblivion, it shows a lot of promise of what would come next. The lack of map markers for side quests is one issue the game has, not a huge deal but looking up how to finish some of the side quests can be a pain, and the inventory, character, and meditation system isn't nearly as good as the third. But with all the small flaws put to the side, its still a fun game and has some great dialog, storytelling, and action. All in all, totally worth picking up on sale.

With neither an interesting character nor an interesting setting you would hope the mechanics would drag this out of the pit. Alas it's little more than a cinematic hack n` slash with all the familiar QTE's and skinner box RPG elements that we've seen before.
