Super clunky
Love the books, CDPR, and the witcher 3. This game is not in the same league as the newer CDPR games. Minigames are based on luck or quick time events. As a player you are left to stumble on story driving characters wandering about town or hidden in random houses. Even the tutorial was broken for me, not showing the indicator for countering at all. Forcing me to start this game with even less of an idea of what's going on. Cannot believe that this was being touted by other players as seemingly positive "less handholding". Would definitely not recommend this game if you are expecting anything close to the level of polish as the new CDPR games.

An underrated gem
Although it shows a little bit its age and CDPR was still finding " its" mojo. This game is just great. The controls might not be the best but my oh my! the story and quests are second to none. Added a couple of mods to make my life easier (like autoloot) and it's been hard putting it down. Currently playing it so I can play (again) TW3 from the beginning but with my decisions from this game.
