A bit dated.
The mechanic to prepare before combat is similiar to Monster Hunter, and is interesting. It is a bit frustrating to enter into combat and to not be able to beat an enemy. There is a collectible card system that allows Geralt to save cards based on characters he's had sex with, so it's encouraged for him to not be loyal to his RI. The writing is considered good and this game is a must-have if you want to check out older games, or simply go through all of The Witcher storylines and lore. This game and the second game are more graphic than the third. There is unfiltered violence and references to sex, more than the third game. If that doesn't bother you, than by all means. Buy the game.

My First PC RPG
Since this was my first RPG of this style that I've played on PC I was worried I wouldn't like it. But I was totally wrong! I'm having a great time with this game and I can't wait to 100% it.
