beautiful, complex rpg..wonderfull

This is just an interactive movie pretending to be an rpg, and sadly, it would have been a much better experience if they had just made a pure interactive movie or book instead, the player has pretty much no control over geralt at all in this "rpg" of theirs, but for some reason they put rpg before action and fantasy in their own description of the game :/ I bought this game 100% for the soundtrack ( just like i did with the other 2 witcher games ) i see no other reason to buy these games personally, if you want the story you would be better off just watching a let's play or 3 instead imo, that way at least you don't have to suffer through the horrible combat :/

Due to lots of positive reviews to this game I expected a good RPG filled with fascinating story, felling charaсters and challenging battles. And I received some bugs, tedious quests, annoying fight system, absolute simplicity of all the battles (the ability to change the difficulty setting appears only in the beginning of the game) and plenty of sex themes. Also I'm not a fan of Sapkowski and see no reasons why I could love this game it simply looks like cheap junk for me.

Why is this game considered so good? The controls suck, the voice acting sucks, the characters look stiff and fake, and the fight sequences don't make any sense at all. I spent over an hour fighting enemies that seemed to take forever to die. I'm not even sure how they died when they did--both they and my character were just kinda standing there, and then they just suddenly fell over dead at some point. I got killed by a monster that simply sat on me, but was so ridiculously overpowered that hits from me and the friendly NPCs did nothing. The tutorial popups are clear enough, but the controls don't always yield the intended results. Moving the character around is pretty goofy, too. As relatively new as this game is, I've seen older games with better movement controls, better combat sequences, and much better voice acting and character animation. Don't waste your money on this crap.

Have not played this game and i can't. cos this is a expansion so you need the game to play it and i don't have that. sure it was free. but still kind of odd to give out a expansion to some one who don't even have the main game installed. But i love free stuff so no hard feeling :) This just made me less intressted in the game. and even if i wonted to well i still have no clue how to buy a game here cos there are no GOG GALAXY game card's or what not in any store i been to. why can't all the game platforms/networks/what-it's-name use the same gift card "system " that would make things so much easier
