Ouch
If by some chance anybody ever reads this I highly recommend Witcher 2, 3, Thronebreaker and the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. All entertaining works of art. I cannot recommend Witcher 1. The story/narrative is essentially fan fiction; skip it or fast forward a longplay, read the wiki, etc.

Overrated
Combat is awful, some of the worst I've ever seen in a game. Characters and story are good but are ruined by stretched out questlines (chapter II is especially bad), in general the game has some redeeming moments but is only worth playing if you really want to play this series in order.
