playable and compelling
Really loved this game. Interesting characters, great graphics and music and a story that pulls you in. If I had one complaint, at times the voice acting could be better, and some aspects that were meant to be "adult" felt uncessary and not so well done. These are minor niggles. Playing 2 at the moment (which is even better!)....highly recommended for those looking for a good RPG

Your time is rewarded.
Allow me to start by saying this, If you are asking yourself if you should play The Witcher 1 before 2 the answer is YES. This is a type of game that the more you play it the more it gives back, what an amazing RPG. "The Witcher" came out back in 2007 and what it did at the was revolutionary , the choices that you made affected the story would be played through out the game FOR REAL, and it was not such bland choices as a yes or a no it was moral decisions with consequences, I have put 40 hours already into the game and I am not even done yet, what an amazing world. As soon as I finish with the first game I'll jump head first into the second.

it's just the best PC game ever..
well can't add anything extra.. like said above.. it's the best PC game ever made. There goes a small team from poland and shows the big ones, where the hammer hits the nail. CDPR continue your great work!
