I really like playing this game because it feels like watching a movie. You are the major character who manages everything and makes decisions, sometimes a word can change the story.

The witcher is the perfect mix of elements that make an action RPG: realism, humor, sadness, great gameplay, and a story to get lost in. I recommend new players to read the novels the game is based on. It's not necessary but it helps getting things in perspective. An absolute must have!

First I was sceptical about transferring Sapkowski's fantasy world into a game. I bought Witcher and after fifteen minutes of playing I was completely drawn into this world. Its simple, it is addictive, it is surprising. Kudos to the creators. And as a translator, I have to say that the team from CD Project Red did a fantastic job (I am playing the English version).

I bought The Witcher accidentaly on a game store cause i like his simple cover. My PC couldn't play it, so after watching some gameplay videos and reviews, guides and reading the manual i decide to keep it instead of returning it! BEST decision ever!! For years i had my best 2 favorite games and searched for number 3 in vain. 1, Baldur's Gate 2. Planescape Torment I finally found it 3. The Witcher All of them take the first place in my heart but the order i played them remains the one above!

While The Wticher game is the one of the series that was made with the lowest budget, tells proper story that introduces you in its world, is fun tu play and inmersive enough to make you forget how many hours have you spent in front of that monitor. Seriously, there are not enough hours in a day to play it, try different paths and reading the lore. But there are two things that I don't like of this game. The first is that the translation to Spanish is pretty bad, and while I don't need it now, when I first played this game I didn't speak English, and being Spaniards not very good with other languages, this is an important point. The second thing is technological, and happens that there were too few NPC models in TW, so there was always the same old woman with the same voice being different characters, for instance, or the same bad guys with the same clothes. It makes you feel the game kind of repetitive in some ways.
